The studio is led by Riona Dundas and takes a holistic approach to design ensuring each space is used to its maximum potential. Having worked on a wide range of projects including new builds, renovations, country houses, townhouses and lateral apartments, Riona established the studio to help private clients to create unique and joyful interiors.
Riona was brought up in a Scottish country house and recognises the importance of nature in both her work and surroundings. She received a BA in History of Art from the University of Leeds before studying at KLC School of Design and honing her skills working for some of House & Garden’s top designers. The studio is based in Notting Hill, London and works closely with British artisans and craftsmen to produce one-of-a-kind pieces as well as encouraging the use of environmentally sustainable materials.
Art and influences from time spent in Europe and Asia in 2019 play a central role in project inspiration and process. Riona believes art, books and carefully curated objects have an important place in every interior.
Working across a range of design styles, every project starts with a fresh approach to suit the client’s brief. The studio works with various budgets to create relevant, happy interiors for individuals and growing families with an emphasis on spatial planning and finishes that appeal to the senses.
Listening to her client’s needs and lifestyle Riona transforms spaces into playful, modernised and most importantly comfortable interiors. She considers a home a giant canvas to tell a unique colourful story about both the client and the building.
